1. Summary

Vault-X does not collect, store, or upload any personal data in plaintext.

2. What Data We Collect

Vault-X is designed for privacy. We collect:

• No personal information
• No device identifiers
• No analytics

3. Encrypted File Storage

All files are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored inside Android's internal storage, which cannot be accessed by any other app.

4. Cloud Backup (Optional)

• Only encrypted data is uploaded.
• No plaintext ever leaves the device.
• Cloud providers cannot read or inspect your files.

5. Authentication

Vault-X uses a Master Password and optional biometric authentication. The password is never stored — only a secure hash is kept.

6. Your Rights

• You can delete all encrypted files at any time.
• You can delete cloud backups via Google Drive or other providers.
• Since we do not collect data, there is no account to delete.

7. Security Commitment

If you forget your Master Password, the developer cannot recover your data. This is intentional to maintain absolute privacy.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy to improve clarity or reflect changes in technology.
